In this week&#8217;s video, we show you how to transform a useless area into a productive and beneficial vegetable bed.<\/p><p>In almost all backyards we see, the space around a tree is usually exposed to direct sunlight, without any vegetation to protect the soil. In Syntropic Farming we learn that &#8220;exposed soil is like an open wound&#8221;, so our approach is a bit different. Instead of keeping the area &#8220;clean&#8221;, we sow as many plants as possible. It helps stabilize the soil temperature and cools down the environment (we kind of need it, right?)<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">No more weeding. As Ernst says, if we plant correctly, the weeding turns into harvests.
